Jenny Ho(Yi-Chen Ho) is a Fashion Designer specializing in High-End Womenswear and Textiles. Jenny obtained her Fashion Design Degree (BFA) from Parsons School of Design in New York and studied abroad for Fashion Prints at Central Saint Martins in London. Fluent in both English/Chinese and worked internationally, Jenny is not only familiar with the Canada/US/European Markets but also and Asia’s demographics. Utilizing her global vision for the fashion market, Jenny is currently working as the Head Designer for Womenswear at Kuwalla Tee, which is well-known for its everyday’s essentials with elevated quality and unique streetwear designs that are also sold at well-known department stores like Macy’s, Simons, and Below The Belt.
With a keen eye for colors and strong textile knowledge, after her studies at Parsons School of Design, she expanded her career and worked for well-respected fashion houses in New York such as Ulla Johnson, Anna Sui, Jonathan Simkhai, etc. Familiar with Asia’s market and demographic, she also has worked as a key designer for well-known designer brands like Rather and Indice Studio.
As a Fashion Designer, Textile Designer, and Concept & Design specialist who believes in the connection between art, fashion, and psychology, Jenny dedicates her time to developing the language that flows between design and art with a specific goal of creating fashion that not only pleases the eyes but also the mind.
Jenny Ho is the winner of the Luxarity/Lane Crawford Award 2019 where she has been sponsored a grant to set up her brand and an upcoming collaboration collection with the well-known Hong Kong retail store, Lane Crawford. Her most prominent work, “Rituals of Self Healing’: was worn by the well-known actress, Reema Sampat, in her upcoming film, singer KIRBY in her album promotion, legendary dancer/ LGBTQ+activist Leiomy Maldonado in her photoshoot, etc. “Rituals of Self Healing” is a collection focusing on how emotions translate through creative and innovative materials that serve a purpose. This collection demonstrates Jenny’s design philosophy: not just to construct clothing pieces, but to create experiences that involve different senses through thoughtful, beautiful, and experimental designs.
